Local Community Member Lygle Dillon
was involved in a major car accident on February 14, 2018. Donate to his Go-fund me page here
Lygle was born and raised in Southern Humboldt, and has gone on to homestead and raise his own family here, as well as found and run Top Notch Tree Work and Elk Ridge Heritage Farms. Proud father of four, he and his loving wife Rachael have settled and prospered as valued members of the Briceland community. Always the first to lend a hand, Lygle would truly give the shirt off his back to someone in need. His natural altruism drew him to the volunteer fire service. Since 2005 he has served as a firefighter with the Briceland Volunteer Fire Department, not only protecting his local community but also helping to cover behind CalFire during periods of major fire activity.
Mateel Community Center
Sherwood Forest is proud to partner with Mateel Community Center as the motel-of-choice for local festivals and events.
